The Clothing Machinery Fair achieved great success this year with its 25th edition. The fair was first held in 1986 at Tüyap Istanbul Exhibition Center with the participation of 18 companies, and after making tremendous progress, is now able to host 426 participant companies and company representatives from 29 countries.

It was the largest fair in the world organized on the subject of Clothing Machinery in 2016. The fair took place in a 98,000 m2 exhibition area with the participation of all global and Turkish manufacturers dealing in sewing, embroidery, cutting machines, irons and presses, and cad/cam systems. Participants were thrilled with 36,000+ visitors at the fair where the latest innovations were showcased. Thousands of visitors coming from 73 countries around the world made significant purchases.

Qualified Buying Committees Rush to the Fair
As a result of Tüyap's extended promotional activities abroad, a significant increase occurred in the number of visitor countries and visitor type. As Tüyap's invitees, professional buying committees coming from Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Morocco, Palestine, Croatia, India, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Kosovo, Latvia, Macedonia, Egypt, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Russia, Serbia, Tunisia and Ukraine were formed at the fair. In addition, domestic investors from many provinces, particularly from Adana, Batman, Bursa, Çorlu, Denizli, İzmir, Kahramanmaraş, Kayseri, Konya, Manisa, Osmaniye and Samsun, met with participating companies to make important purchases.
Flawless Clothing Technologies
Clothing Machinery 2016 provided real advantages for competing with advancing technologies. All technologies required to set up a new facility were showcased at this fair. For companies wishing to upgrade their facilities, the fair was the only address where new technologies could be found all together.

Special Activities for the 25th Edition of the Fair
Held for the 25th time this year, the Clothing Machinery Fair offered uniquely appealing experiences for its visitors. The activities and seminars that were organized enhanced commercial activities. The visitors showed great interest and appreciation for the Photography Section by Istanbul Aydın University, seminars by F-11 Karma Moda Design Group, From Past To Present: An Exhibition of Sewing Machines, and especially the Fabric Exhibition, which was organized by Mimar Sinan University to bring design and art together.

We look forward to seeing you at the 26th edition of the Clothing Machinery Fair, which will be held at Tüyap Fair Convention and Congress Center in 2018 as we prepare to achieve even greater success.
